Lead Generation Intern

We are looking for a Lead Generation Intern to join our team based in Cape Town, Century City. In this role, you will support our sales and marketing efforts by identifying potential customers, building prospect lists, and contributing to the growth of our business. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn about sales processes, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management while making a tangible impact.

 

Responsibilities but not limited to:


  • Research and identify potential leads through online resources, databases, and social media platforms.

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients, ensuring data accuracy and organization.

  • Qualify leads by evaluating their alignment with our target audience and business objectives.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop outreach strategies and campaigns.

  • Assist in drafting and personalizing email templates, LinkedIn messages, and other communication materials.

  • Track and report on lead generation metrics, providing regular updates to the team.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new lead opportunities.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving lead generation processes.

  • Assist with request for proposal responses

 

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong research skills and proficiency in using online tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Google, CRM software).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and email marketing platforms.

  • Previous experience in lead generation, sales, or marketing is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies.

  • Fluent in French advantageous
