Marketing Business Analyst Intern (m/f/d), ENRICH in Africa Center
The Center serves as a pivotal one-stop shop and ecosystem aggregator for the EU-AU innovation agenda, bringing together key stakeholders from Europe and Africa onto one collaborative platform. Originating from the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project, it strives to connect the African and European innovation support ecosystems. The EIA Center’s mission is to be the primary platform for enhancing the EU-Au tech and innovation ecosystems. We are dedicated to facilitating collaboration among innovators, connecting incubators and accelerators, investors, corporates, and policymakers to achieve positive social impact.
The vision is to be the bridge between African and European innovation ecosystems, facilitating innovation actors to consolidate sustainable business, enabling growth and amplifying the impact and coverage of their services and programs.
The EiA Center seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Business Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the EiA Center staff and project coordination team, providing best-in-class administrative, analytical, and commercial support to the Center activities. Additionally, the role includes key responsibilities in graphic design to enhance our communication and branding efforts.
The role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following activities:
Assist with gathering data and creating analytical reports on marketing, impact, and growth charts.
Gather required documentation, analytics, and presentation materials for proposals and bid submissions.
Create visually appealing presentation packs, infographics, and marketing materials to support proposals and projects. Design templates and visual assets for reports, publications, and social media content.
Support the translation of products and services to be published in French.
Source bids and new business leads as directed by the Business Development Manager.
Collaborate during project estimation and initial workshops.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and design quality across all materials.
Support the creation and editing of multimedia content, including videos and animations, where necessary.
About You:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Graphic Design, Administration or a related field.
6-12 months of experience in Marketing/Business Analytics/Market Research, with additional exposure to graphic design/visual communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in both analysis and design.
Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken French
A positive attitude, team spirit, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Interest in both African and European startup ecosystems, with knowledge of incubators, accelerators, and innovators.
Preferred Attributes:
Self-starter with a structured mindset for problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
Experience or interest in multilingual projects (e.g., French-English translations).
Knowledge of SSO (Startup Support Organization) and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
