Methys appoints Jean-Philippe Gireaud as head of international business development

Methys announced today the appointment of Mr Jean Philippe Gireaud as Head of International Business Development. This addition to the company executive team supports Methys’ strategy to increase the firm’s presence in Continental Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Based in Paris, Jean-Philippe will be responsible to develop new streams of business across all Methys products and services.

In his previous role, Jean Philippe Gireaud spent five years at eFront where he was Area Sales Manager in Europe and Africa. Prior to that he held various Senior Sales and Presales with GL Trade (acquired by Sungard in 2009). Jean-Philippe started his career at Tradition Viel before joining a subsidiary of the French Stock Exchange focusing on Financial Software development. Jean-Philippe reports to Christophe Viarnaud Chairman and CEO of Methys Group.

“We are particularly excited to have Jean-Philippe joining our team at this important phase in our development” said Christophe Viarnaud, who co-founded the company in 2004.

“Jean-Philippe contributes a wealth of knowledge of the Software and Services industry for Financial Services combined with great passion and enthusiasm. He has been instrumental in building the Methys-eFront partnership over the years, knows our teams and share our values and culture of excellence for customer service. I am convinced we are going to build great client partnerships together.”
