Air France strengthens support of tech innovation in Africa

French airline launches Joon, and confirms commitment to AfricArena 2018.

Coinciding with the launch of their new, innovative airline, Joon, today Air France-KLM paid a visit to the French Tech South African Tech Labs in Century City, Cape Town where the leading French airline confirmed their commitment to African tech innovation by increasing its partnership in the AfricArena 2018 conference.

The French South African Tech Labs is an incubator and accelerator for French and South African startups, and is supported by AfricArena, a tech innovation conference that aims to promote African Tech excellence by showcasing Africa’s best startups and innovators.

Frank Legré, SVP of Air France-KLM for Africa said, “We are committed to supporting innovation in Africa. As one of the initial launch partners of the Cape Town-based AfricArena conference, we are thrilled to announce that this year, Air France-KLM will again be a key sponsor of AfricArena 2018 and its pan-African AfricArena Tour.”
